Description

Need help filing your taxes? Come by for free tax preparation on Tuesdays. The AARP Tax-Aide Program, in cooperation with the IRS and N.C. Dept. of Revenue, offers free tax preparation for seniors, as well as low and middle-income taxpayers.

Electronic filing (E-file) is available. The Tax-Aide program will run weekly (on Tuesdays) from February 2 to April 13 at the Lois E. Harrill Senior Center in Boone (265-8090). Please call for more information including eligibility requirements, appointment availability, and what documents to bring.

We will also be offering these services a few Mondays in February and March at the Western Watauga Community Center in Cove Creek (297-5195).
