Description

For animal lovers and young scientists, "Kids on Campus - Animal Studies!" will be the happening thing this summer at Appalachian State University.
Conferences and Institutes, a division of Appalachian State University, will be sponsoring Session II of Animal Studies, for students in grades 4-6 in Fall, 2010. Camp meets from 1:00-5:15 each day and the camp fee is $145. Campers will sometimes be in a lab classroom, sometimes in the woods nearby, and sometimes visiting various other science labs at ASU.
The instructors for this high energy, all hands-on camp, have many years of animal experiences between them, as well as a good understanding of children. They love turning kids on to science, and they understand the benefits that come from creating a cohesive learning group. If you are interested in a special summer enrichment opportunity for the young people in your life, then sign up quickly because enrollment is limited to 14 campers each session.
