Description

A fusion of accomplished musicians from diverse musical backgrounds, The Switch (as in FLIP IT!) adeptly spans a variety of musical styles including bluesy, funky, rockin’ and soulful. Covers include tunes by Susan Tedeschi, Koko Taylor, Sue Foley, Irma Thomas, Etta James, Chaka Khan, Bonnie Raitt, Allman Brothers, CCR, and The Meters. Formed in spring 2010, The Switch draws members of Soul Benefactor and The Deciders to back singer Laura England. Join them the last Friday of each month at Char (July - Oct) for FAT FRIDAY!!!
