Downhill and Dual Slalom North Carolina State Championship Series

Beech Mountain Resort has teamed up with Lees-McRae College's Cycling program to offer downhill mountain bike and slalom racing events in 2010. August 7 and 8, and September 11 and 12 are the next two race weekends.

Race entry fees will include all classes. Amateur and professional categories will be offered.

The Saturday downhill race will take place at Beech Mountain Resort and the Sunday slalom race will take place at Lees-McRae College. Downhill registration will open at 8:00 a.m. with practice opening at 8:30 a.m. Registration will close at 1:00 p.m. along with practice closing at 1:30. A mandatory riders meeting will take place at 1:45 p.m. The first racer will go off at 2:00 p.m. Awards will follow 15 minutes after all of the final results are posted. Dual Slalom registration will open at 8:00 a.m. with practice starting at 8:30 a.m. Registration closes at 11:00 and practice closes at 12:00. Qualifying will begin at 12:30 will the race brackets starting at 1:00
