Description

Hope many of you will join us for this event, our first potluck of 2012, co-sponsored by VegBoone and Boone Raw Food Community. It will be held on Thursday, January 19th at the Watauga Public Library, 140 Queen Street in Boone. Arrive between 6:00 and 6:30. Please bring a cooked vegan or raw vegan dish (no meat, fish, eggs, dairy, or honey) that would serve 6-8, your own place setting, and a copy of your recipe. Multiple copies to share with others would most certainly be appreciated by participants. We have been able to add many special recipes to our collection in this way.

About 7:00, VegBoone member Lee J. Ball, will tell stories about his experiences at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary operated by the American Bear Association in Orr, Minnesota. He and his wife Cindy lived and worked there for two years. Lee has been described by another VegBoone member, who heard him speak about the Sanctuary, as a "mesmerizing storyteller"! It promises to be a memorable evening!
