Description

2012 is "Year of the Bat" in North Carolina State Parks. We will get the year started by learning some basic facts about bats. We will dispel some myths and learn about some of the hardships bats face and conservation efforts to save this extremely beneficial mammal. Join us at the Park Office at Elk Knob State Park on Sunday, January 29 at 2:30 pm for a Powerpoint presentation. We will also make an "Itsy Bitsy Bat Book" for the kids to take home.
