Boone, NC 28607

The 6th annual Hunter’s Heroes Memorial Run and Celebration will be held on May 19th at 8:30 a.m. This year, the run will be in memory of Sergeant Dillon C. Baldridge, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Dillion grew up in the town of Youngsville, North Carolina; however, his mother, Tina Palmer, lives in West Jefferson & works in Watauga County. Baldridge was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge and the Army Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster. The funds raised will be donated to a charity and Tina, his mother, is choosing a charity that was important to Dillon. That information is forthcoming and will shared on our website, and marketing engines soon.
