Why create an account?

Creating an account allows you to save events as "favorites" which then become highlighted on the calendar view. Favorites can also be viewed in list format through the "User Links" box.

Account holders can post comments to most events that then become visible to the general public.

You also gain the ability to review and edit events that you have submitted. Frequent posters to the calendar can also request to become "trusted contributors" giving them the ability to post events without pre-approval.
